To use this anti candida colloidal silver yeast infection home remedy, here's what you'll need --
- Colloidal silver
- Reusable antifungal cream (check out the Safeway Miconazole with Reusable applicator) applicator
- Water-based lubricant or just use the antifungal cream that comes with the applicator.
- Panty liner. I like to use Always as I find it works better at keeping the moisture away from my skin
Here's what you do --
- Separate the "plunger" part of the antifungal cream applicator from the applicator itself.
- Spread a tiny bit of the lubricant onto the outside of the empty antifungal cream applicator.
- Lying on your back (preferrably at bedtime), assume the position as if you're applying an OTC antifungal cream. Try to keep your buttocks elevated. Putting a pillow underneath can help.
- Insert the empty antifungal cream applicator into the vagina about 1/3 of the way in.
- Using the colloidal silver dropper, squeeze 1 or 2 dropper fulls of the anti candida colloidal silver solution into the empty applicator and into the vagina. The applicator, in this case, acts as a sort of "speculum" to allow easier application of the colloidal silver solution.
- Remain in this position (with buttocks elevated) for at least 10 minutes to allow the anti candida colloidal silver solution to work.
