These natural male yeast infection treatment will bring you relief

male yeast infection treatment male yeast infection treatment*

Natural forms of male yeast infection treatment help you avoid the OTC products. Again, see the complete list of man yeast infection symptoms if you are not sure you have a male yeast infection (balanitis).

Here's my standard advice again -- if this is the first time you're experiencing a penile yeast infection, keep reading for a natural male yeast infection treatment you can use. A penis yeast infection is not life threatening, but I strongly urge you to see your doctor to get a proper diagnosis for a few reasons -- 1) you don't want to just assume that you have a penile yeast infection (balanitis), 2) you could have something more serious than a man yeast infection such as another STD (sexually transmitted disease), and 3) self treatment with an over-the-counter yeast infection medication when in fact you do not have a man yeast infection is not a good thing. Why? If you in fact do not have a man yeast infection but still treating your infection symptoms with an OTC antifungal cream, you could end up creating a more resistant strain of candida albicans with repeated use.

Here's the continuation of my list of natural male yeast infection treatment --

Herbal Brew
This herbal male yeast infection treatment takes more work to create, but according to some, it's well worth the effort. Most of the ingredients below can be found at your local health food store. If not, you can find them at a reputable online herbal merchant.

Here's what you'll need --

  1. Raspberry or comfrey leaf
  2. Sage
  3. Goldenseal
  4. Mullein (optional)
  5. Cider vinegar
  6. Acidophilus powder or yogurt (optional)
  7. Water

  8. A small bowl. You need something large enough to hold about 3 or 4 cups of water, but shallow enough so you can comfortably put your penis into.

  9. Calendula cream (optional)
Calendula has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic (antibacterial and antiviral) and astrigent properties. These have been confirmed in lab tests. Calendula also has healing properties -- an especially good thing if you have rashes and sores on the head of the penis.

    Here's what you do --

    1. Mix equal parts of the raspberry or comfrey leaf, sage, and mullein (optional) with 1/4 part of the goldenseal.

    2. Boil the above mixture in 1 quart (about 2 cups) of water. Remove from heat and steep for 15 - 20 minutes. Once steeped, removed the herbs and allow the solution to cool.

    3. Once cooled, add 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of acidophilus powder (optional) or 1/4 cup of yogurt (optional).

    4. Lift the bowl up to your penis and let your it soak in the solution for 15 to 30 minutes.

    5. After you're done, be sure to pat dry the penis and foreskin.

    6. Apply some calendula cream on the penis. (optional)

Mild infections - soak with this herbal male yeast infection treatment every other night until a day after your penile yeast infection symptoms are gone. More intense infections - soak with this herbal male yeast infection treatment nightly.

      Boric acid soak
Yep -- you read right -- boric acid! Most of us associate boric acid with insecticides, herbicides, or pesticides. But, did you know that boric acid is more commonly used in the health products we see on the shelf than most would realize? As a chemical substance, boric acid has mild antiseptic properties. It is used in eyewash and "artificial tears" products, as well as topical cold sore ointments. Some feminine douching solutions sold commercially even contain boric acid. Note -- if you have open sores from your penile yeast infection, DO NOT use this treatment. Boric acid is very toxic if taken internally, or even absorbed through the open sores. Allow the sores to heal before using this male yeast infection treatment.

To make this male yeast infection treatment, here's what you'll need --

      1. Boric acid powder (duh!). Again, you can find them at the local pharmacy or even Safeway, in their health products section -- that's where I found mine! If you're having a hard time finding some, here's a good place to get it

      2. Tea tree oil. I've found tea tree oils at various local health food stores. I've also found tea tree oil at reputable merchants on the web at some really decent prices. Click here if you prefer the organically grown version.

      3. Warm water

      4. A small bowl. You need something large enough to hold about 3 or 4 cups of water, but shallow enough so you can comfortably put your penis into.

      5. Calendula cream (optional)

      Here's what you do --

      1. Mix 2 tablespoon of boric acid powder with 5 to 10 drops of tea tree oil and 2 cups (1 pint) of warm water in the small bowl.

      2. Lift the bowl up to your penis and let your it soak in the solution for 15 to 30 minutes.

      3. After you're done, be sure to pat dry the penis and foreskin.

      4. Optional - sparingly apply the calendula cream to the penis and affected areas.

Soak with this male yeast infection treatment twice a day until 1 day after all signs of penile yeast infection are gone.
